Welcome
The diversity office was created to foster an inclusive environment for all school of education faculty, staff, and students. This office will be responsible for providing programming, workshops, and professional development for faculty, staff, and students that will increase their knowledge and understanding of diversity related topics. Additionally, this office will work to support diverse faculty, staff, and students in the school of education.

- Promote, integrate, and take action to create a diverse SOE and University community
- Increase the recruitment and retention of underrepresented faculty, staff, and students in the School of Education
- Develop initiatives that enhance the representation of faculty, staff, and student’s in the SOE without regard to national origin, gender, race, religion, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, veteran’s status, disability or intellectual perspective
- Implement diversity, equity, and inclusion training and professional development
